This location combines three venues: Brooklyn Mirage, Kings Hall, and Great Hall. Each of these provides a slightly different venue, but all cater to large scale events. Due to it’s 6,000 person capacity, it commonly hosts big name DJs.

Partially owned by the one and only Jay-Z, this is an all-around venue to host artists from Bon Jovi to Travis Scott. Balcony seats are usually not worth it, but ga floor tickets will sell out instantly. If there’s a concert at this venue, make sure to buy tickets fast.

Similar to Avant Gardner, this venue also looks to host well known DJs in a large spacious venue. In recent times however, more DJs have been opting to use Avant Gardner since many find the sound quality here low. It is also right on the edge of Sunset Park/Red Hook making it more difficult to arrive to the venue.

Elsewhere truly feels like a different place in the NY music scene. House of Yes is an enigma, and that’s the fun of it. With it’s bright lights mixed with aerial dancers and lots of lots of glitter, the venue rarely hosts big artists, but more so indie soundcloud DJs. With an immensely unique decoration, and it’s partial outdoor smoking area, this venue is one absolutely worth visiting at least once in the city.

“The Most Famous Arena” and aptly named, MSG hosts the widest variety of events ranging from graduations, bull riding, basketball games, and of course concerts. Seating here is critical as the balcony seats make it harder to feel the experience of being at a concert. Similar to Barclays, be sure to buy tickets for the floor quick as they tend to sell out very fast on Ticketmaster (the only authorized ticket seller for MSG).

Comparatively, Marquee is situated in a more advantageous area in Chelsea allowing those visiting the venue, to explore the area before going to the event. Be sure to be on the lookout for their unique disco ball as well.

On the first dance floor, screens cover three different sides of the venue allowing for great aesthetics. However, due to it’s popularity, it will be very crowded and hard to move. Be sure to get there early for a good view.
